In 2008, I equipped my Bourgault air drill with VW5FC full carbide spoons. After this years seeding, there was virtually no wear on these points. I think these could last up to 15 times longer than regular spoons. These points are a tremendous time saver - no changing spoons all the time. I have peace of mind, knowing these full carbide spoons are cutting all the time and always maintain their full width.
