The company was first started in 1982, building drill points and drill shoes. It has grown to manufacture tillage tools and chromium carbide and steel carbide drill points for most makes and models of seeding equipment. We build, sell and service tillage and seeding products. The focus is on development of these products and on custom carbide. Tungsten carbide is used world wide in almost all industries - - gas, oil, mining, lumbering etc., greatly increasing the useful life of the products. Your drill points may be the most important part of seeding your crop. VW MFG's full carbide drill points will cost less per acre and bushel produced than any other drill point. You absolutely must produce every available bushel. As you well know direct seeding is extremely demanding. If your drill point is not cutting 100% of the time you are not creating an absolute perfect seed bed, resulting in" leaving money on the table". Our full carbide drill points maintain their width, they do not "narrow up". Large amounts of fertilizer are being placed safely with the seed (please refer to Jim Curran's testimonial ).
